Hi Nina,
What do you do when the current reality isn’t changing, while you’re focusing on the ideal. What I mean is what to say to that person.
For example, things were getting better with me and my specific person. We made plans to see each other (we are long distance), he was verbally more affectionate. Tells me he loves me, although the communication is still pretty intermittent. But, I was still feeling really good about everything, and felt that I was making progress. I was taking your advice and going to total positivity. Then I got a text from my guy. He had just been visiting with his son, and told me they talked about us. I got really excited thinking it was a positive conversation. But, it wasn’t. He told me he told his son, that he didn’t want a relationship and he wasn’t relationship material, and nothing was going to change that. I did get hurt and it unfortunately brought me back into the current reality. I didn’t really respond to him, just said that I didn’t think there was anything I could say that would change his mind and that was how the texts ended.
My question to you is, what is the best response to say to someone, when they are resisting the manifestation? Like, what was I supposed to say to him when he tells me he doesn’t want a relationship? 2nd question: why do you think he said that when he was being so affectionate just days earlier?
Also, I don’t want to stop being with him because it makes me feel the current reality more, but I wonder what his motivation to do commit is, when he is getting what he wants now?
